Altho they already said only the host player will progress in the new game, since everyone’s gameplay is dependent on the choices one makes in the game as they progress, so that will be hard to progress ppl equally I suppose. You can email them suggestions at Anything to make ur experience better. And maybe you can send Techland a suggestion to make coop better for the next game(since they will not be supporting the old game much anymore now that they are working on the sequel). But hey at least you can both drop weapons that will be similar to keep you on a decent level together. But I never truly did coop when I first got the game so not sure how it is in the beginning of playing with others. Well if your close on level, it may not matter as much, but when I drop something on Legend 202 to someone say legend 12, there is a huge difference. I have tried searching around but all i saw were people saying that it was because different places in the campaign but I didn't see anyone mention if it's possible to get to the same place so both players can level up at a more similar place (to put it in perspective, after like a dozen hours of playing starting at roughly the same level, he is Survivor 3 and I am Survivor 8, I can only imagine this gap would get more frustrating as time goes on) I had a few ideas on how to fix:ġ) have him get to the exact same story mission so our campaign progress is synced and I stay as hostĢ) have him get to one mission ahead of me, I host, and after repeating the mission on my game we would be in the same placeģ) try having him host to see if this is an actual intended feature or some weird bug Is there any way we can progress together? I read the co-op for this game was great but having only one player getting a higher level seems pretty lame and its a hassle for him to give me all his stuff so i can sell it and buy him decent weapons. We realized after like 10 hours that he wasn't getting survival xp from stories and only about 10% xp from side quests. I got through the prologue solo and then have been hosting him. Me and a buddy got this game for Christmas to play together. We do encourage original content, however.
